What the App Does

DarkParlor is a fully offline mystery-generation app that runs entirely on your device. It generates mystery case files, manages a guest roster and tracks evening progress. All of this is done locally using storage on your iPhone.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data in local device storage (UserDefaults): your case files, your guest roster, and your settings preferences such as haptics and timer defaults. This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any external server and is not accessible to Lilly Port or any third party. When you delete the app, all stored data is removed.

No Data Collection

DarkParlor does not collect any data about you or your usage. There are no usage statistics, no crash reports sent to external services, no event tracking and no identifiers of any kind transmitted anywhere.

No Network Access

The app does not open any network connection. It works without an internet connection, in airplane mode, and functions identically whether or not your device has any network access. There is no account to create and no sign-in required.

No External Libraries

DarkParlor does not include any advertising frameworks or external software development kits of any kind. The app contains only its own code and Apple's standard iOS system frameworks.
